Cramer Dev is a small team of designers and developers who
are passionate about creating exceptional websites.

We like the web. Maybe a little too much, but someone has to keep their fingers on the pulse of this thing. If you have an idea for a startup, website redesign, mobile app, or something else that you would like to do on the web, we have the expertise to help in your pursuit.

We’ve been around a while and have seen the web change quite a bit. We are constantly researching and evaluating the latest and best methods for building websites and web applications. We attend conferences like SXSW, An Event Apart, Big Omaha, and FOWD regularly and rub shoulders with the best designers and developers in the world.

Our History

Established in 2000, Cramer Development has grown to become a world-class web and mobile application development team. We are especially adept at quickly understanding business requirements and translating them into user-friendly web and mobile applications that get results. We also bring value to every project by taking ownership of issues surrounding ongoing operation and management of the applications we build. Over the years, we have become known and respected by designers and developers across the world, have been featured in numerous online galleries across the web. We strive to employ the best and brightest designers and software engineers who are devoted to mastering their craft.

From Zero to 100

We start almost every project at the strategic level. Understanding the why and not just the how allows us to help startups and other organizations build web apps and mobile apps that actually achieve the results for which they were intended. We do this through strategic planning, internet marketing consulting, website design, hosting, and application development. We have expertise in e-commerce and web & mobile businesses. Although we're committed to using the best platform and language for the job, our language of choice these days is probably Ruby on Rails, but we maintain projects in a variety of platforms including PHP, Python, and more.

And You're In Iowa?

Yes. And we kind of like it here. Actually, we’re only barely in Iowa. Our team has roots that span the continental United States including Maine, New Hampshire, Indiana, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio, and California. We’ve been using this thing called the internet to keep in touch everyday and work together and have found this arrangement to be very productive and efficient. Our team meets face to face quarterly for a jam session where we usually try to knock out a fun one day project and catch up a bit. Our main offices are located in Iowa City, Iowa, where we also do web design for clients in Iowa City. You're welcome to stop by and say “Hi!” any time!
